However, it was not until the 2009 hit "Just Dance" that the mainstream music scene really took off. Gaga was suffering from a labral injury to her right hip. She had been nursing it secretly for several months with the hope of being enough to go on tour. She was left unable to walk after a concert in Toronto and was suffering from severe discomfort. The tour was canceled.
